My day in a nutshell

-Feeling tired and sleepy, but otherwise well
-Singing O Canada in honor of it being a special day for Canadians
-Being with coworkers from overseas whom we've been missing, and having fun and being silly like old times
-Hearing inspirational speakers
-Sitting through a business meeting that was actually not too boring -- and we finished early! =:-o
-Being honored with gifts and applause for serving with our organization for 20 years ;-)
-Crying while saying goodbye to a good friend who is like a sister; won't see her again for at least a year :-(

I missed being able to spend time with you all today online, and I'm hoping you will each have a blessed and restful weekend, especially those of you who are sick and sorrowing.

I am feeling better, just need to get caught up on my sleep now. I was actually thinking of you yesterday, and missing YOU -- I decided I would drop you an email to see how you were -- but of course I didn't get a round tuit. :-/ I may still do that! Thanks for looking in, my dear.
