Sick, ugh!
I went to the dentist on Thursday and had my root canal finished, which meant more novacaine. So I was feeling my usual droopy post-novacaine self yesterday.
But it seems on top of that, I have been coming down with the flu or something, because by evening, I was feeling pretty achey and nauseated and had trouble keeping down the few little bits of food I managed to munch on. In the night I developed a fever -- not a particularly high one by the numbers, but high enough to me, because my temp is normally a degree below the standard, and a reading on the thermometer always has to have one degree added to it.
So now I am really exceedingly droopy and limp. Fevers -- even little ones -- really take the stuffing out of me, I can tell you! So my plan for today is rest, sleep, rest, not eat until I get really hungry, rest some more, and on top of that do very little. Hopefully I'll mend soon!
