DS's interview is over and done, and we are feeling quite hopeful. It was a group interview, and there were 6 of them all told. Nathan is under the impression that they will get the jobs they applied for if their background checks and references and driver's license check doesn't turn up anything to disqualify them. He can't remember if they actually stated that, or if it was just implied -- he sometimes has a hard time remembering details afterwards. ;-) From what he tells us of everything that went on in the time he was there, we think he is right in that impression. Sounds like the interview passed as a partial orientation as well. He'll know for sure in about two weeks. In his words, he is "highly hopeful." Waiting will be excruciating, but hopefully we'll all bear up under the strain without too much nailbiting.
He said it was an interesting experience having a public interview with the other applicants, but in some ways it was to his advantage, because I think he was shown to good effect in a small intimate group setting with people who he seemed to feel comfortable with, even though he didn't know them. But it really wore him out, he was a limp rag afterwards, lol!
It's housework today, and running errands, and after that the reading and writing and researching of fics. In other words, a typical Saturday. I'm looking forward to it! :-D
