Tired!
Ugh, I forgot how tiring packing can be, lol! I'm ready for a nap already, and I just got up an hour ago!!
It's a good thing we have the option of making innumerable trips in the course of moving, because I'm having a hard time deciding what is important to take in the first load of stuff. I'm trying to include a little bit of everything, but even my brain is tired trying to anticipate what I'll need right at first. I'm out of practice at setting up two households, methinks!
Anyway, we are off in a few hours to Chicago, and since I don't know what the internet situation will be, I'm letting y'all know you might not see me for a few days. I'm pretty hopeful, though, that there will be a wireless signal somewhere in the city I can tap into at some point! But first, it will be the moving and the setting up and the shopping for furniture...
And of course, the napping!

I would love it if we could work something out so we could visit, even just for a bit. We are slightly moved in already, though we don't have a enough furniture yet to actually count as being moved in. ;-) We're back in Wisc. now for a few days to pack up more stuff, then we head down again to Chicago.
As for Aug. 5-11, we have to travel out of state at the end of that time, maybe leaving the 9th or the 10th, but if you are there as early as the 5th and can get free from your convention, I'd love to meet you. I am new to Chicago, but I think I could find my way down to where your convention is, and we could find a place to have coffee or lunch together or something.
Let me know more details as you figure them out yourself, and I'll see what I can work out.
Oh, btw, yest, the move is covered in part by what we call work funds, and yes, our work will be mission-related. :-)

I"m actully arriving on the 6h at 11am, there is some activity that night, and then on the 7th, there's an activity in the afternoon starting at 3pm(I think). Con starts on fri the 8th but maybe sometime on the 6th, or morning of the 7th, we can get together.
The con is as the Hilton Chicag somewhere on Michigan, but I'll get exact details to you later.
I really hope we can make this happen, I was so disappointed when you didn't get to make it to the birthday moot last year.
