I hope that things go well. Starting over in a new city is hard - even if you are used to doing it. Have you tried using Craigslist for furniture? My city is pretty small so I don't use it much, but my brother has bought and sold things from it and has had good success with it.

One thing about being single is I can buy what I want! :) However, I should be thriftier. :)
