I'll add an opinion from Viking-land. I have to preface it by saying I couldn't care less about football, I was a hockey fan growing up. But, that said, every guy I know and about half the women follow the Vikings. We are far removed from the days of being have a defense worthy of being called "Purple People Eaters". And while there is excitement here about Favre joining the Vikings, many people don't want our archrival's leftovers! He should end his career on a high note and retire a Packer gracefully. He'll end up hurt or leading the Vikes in (another) losing season and retire in disgrace if he stays here LOL.
