Going on a journey
Tomorrow I leave to go to a conference where I will be cooking for about 50 people; I'll be there for about 10 days or so. There may be limited internet access and I'll have my laptop, but I don't know if I'll be free to hook up, due to time constraints and restrictions on where I am staying.
So if you don't see me for the next two weeks, don't think I have disappeared; I'll be back -- hopefully in one piece!
I am feeling pretty frazzled today, as I have a ton of things that HAVE to be done before I leave tomorrow morning, and I frankly do not see how it will happen short of staying up all night -- not a good way to begin a stressful week. At least I just observe the cooking tomorrow and Friday, but I'll still have to help (rather than be in charge), and I don't want to start off on the wrong foot by being tired.
I'll have to shift into light-speed gear, even though my brain is running on empty right now...
But there is time for one more Sharpe update... Nothing much new, except that as of 20 July 2004, Sean Bean had not accepted any offer to do a one-off Sharpe; there are indications that if the film is made it will be set in India in the 1820's and may well be for cinema, as well as television.

Where's Boromir?

Chapter 10
Tharbad
when You return.
Re: Where's Boromir?
I hope to be able to get online at times while I am gone, but I can't make any promises. I don't know if I can stand to be away from y'all for that long, so I'm going to do my best to poke my head in now and then.
Boromir is going with me, because his next chapter is only half done and he's keen to see it in print. Lords of Gondor has been moved over to the new The Red Book board so look for it there. But I'll post his new chapter here at LJ, too, of course!
