Home sick today...

There's a bug going around the office and my house, and I've got it now. I probably could have gone in to the office if I had forced myself, but I think if I stay home, I'll get over it faster. At least at home I can lay down when I feel like it. I think I'll take my laptop to bed with me and finish working on the project that is due today, so I don't miss my deadline.

The disadvantage of being a writer/copy editor is that you can do your work at home as easily as at the office. And deadlines for publications wait for no man.

But first, some tea and a poached egg...
