The nice thing about this kind of cold is that it's too cold to snow and then you don't have to go out in it to shovel! Let's hope that's how it works, anyway. ;-)
I might be offline tomorrow, my dears, but not to worry. I'll be back on Friday, and you'll be in my thoughts whether you see me or not.

That's a really, really long introduction sort of thing. :) I just wanted to ask if I could friend you... I didn't want to do it without asking. It always seems strange when someone shows up on my list and I have no idea who they are. :)

I am tickled that you are reading and enjoying my Boromir fiction, but I'm even more pleased that my sharing of Scripture has touched you now and then -- that is most encouraging to me!

I love cold, cold outside temps when it's warm inside -- especially if it's cold and sunny, so the sunshine makes the house feel nicer.
Anyway, stay warm and safe, dear Lin, in your lovely new home!

Now, for some frigidly cold weather fun: When it's in the 10 below zero temps, bundle up well, boil a pan of water and while it's still boiling run (carefully of course) outside and fling the water in the air away from you. The shock of boiling water hitting such cold air causes it to explode into little ice crystals. Bang! We did that in ND when Meg was little and it was so neat. Try some food coloring in the water too, if it works you can get blue or red or whatever ice crystals.

I expect you are right about it never being too cold to snow. We are actually supposed to get flurries tomorrow, when it is predicted to be even colder. One thing is, that when it's really cold and it does snow, the snow is pretty dry and easy to sweep away.

I do hope you are keeping the house warm today and snuggled up all snug!
