What a day!

My confidence that I would finish some projects must have invoked Murphy's Law, as I have never had so many interruptions as I did today -- lots of little stuff that wasn't hard, but threw me off schedule so that I only finished one of things I wanted to have put behind me by the end of the day. Drat! I really wanted them both to be done by now. :-(

I'm still going to have to take some time for myself this evening so that I will be rested for tomorrow. I am reorganizing my plans for my "day off" to include an unexpected meeting and working on the unfinished article. Already on the list of things to do is vote, do some cleaning, and go to a seminar in the evening -- hubby will have to take on the other errands I can't manage. I bet the cleaning won't happen either, but there should always be one thing on the list that can easily be removed in case of Murphy showing up with his Law.

In spite of Murphy, I am still feeling cheerful, and will feel even more so after this headache goes away. I think I may have forgotten to have enough lunch today... Which reminds me, it's time to make supper!

:-D

(((Lin))). I am glad you are still feeling cheerful, despite it all. I hope your headache goes away soon. You probably have it because you didn't eat luch.

I've had some crackers and cheese and I feel MUCH better. I should have thought of that sooner!

(((sweetie))) I'm glad you are cheerful, despite your business. I don't know how you do it, I don't think I know anyone busier than you!

I had the same headache yesterday, from not eating.
Go eat dinner, and you'll feel better.

Been thinking about you. Love ya!

((((Wade))))

I do seem to be busy, don't I? I'm feeling slightly less cheerful about it today, but that's because I need another cup of coffee, hehe!

Thanks for thinking about me, it helps!

Murphy is such a stinker! He has messed up many a day for me too.

I should have known he'd show up, LOL! One ought to always allow for Murphy and his Law.

Sure you can

You will get it all done. Just get those good looking men in your avatar to come and clean house for you. Murphy law can throw you for a loop sometime.
hugs

Good idea! I know Boromir doesn't do laundry, but he might be willing to vacuum...

It will all get done eventually, the trick is in getting it done without crabbing too much at people! Thanks for the hugs!

Well, Lin, you know what they say; "Murphy was an optimist." That's my motto that I live by. You know, I was reading some of our Calvin and Hobbes books ( seeing as they apply more and more to a certain small someone each passing day =) and I've decided you need a duplicator. Just flip a big cardboard box over and write "duplicator" on it, and attach a knob - an empty tp roll will do. Then set the number of duplicates needed, crawl under, and voila! Remember not to get IN the box, 'cause then its a time machine, and as we all know, time travel can get tricky. Let me know how it works out! (((((( Lin )))))))

((((You))))

Calvin and Hobbes are inspired! Yes, indeed, that is what I need, a duplicator...

I made the mistake of looking my office email, and see there is an editing job waiting for me of the kind I dislike -- ie, poorly written! But I will not be pressured into doing it until I have finished my other projects which have priority, at least on my list.

Think I'll take the rest of the morning for me, and then see how much of the RW will fit into what time is left. ;-)

Maybe I'll let my duplicate deal with the laundry!

Sounds like you also got a dose of O'Toole's Theorum: Murphy was an optomist. :-) Ladyhawk
