A quieter day

Things are quieter here at work today -- though the problem is, I'm not supposed to be in the office today. :-/ But I had to come in to deal with some things that didn't happen yesterday due to recurring wildness.

My hubby is working at home doing things that involve loud drilling and sanding of plaster and strong paint smells, so I think I'll actually stay here at the office a bit longer, before I go home to do the things on my "do at home" list.

One of those things involves doing a phone interview for an article I am writing, and I really am not quite sure what I want to ask the guy! Hoping I get inspired between now and early afternoon. ;-)

I noticed that my Word of the Day is still "exacerbate" so I am hoping that is not a bad sign, hehe!

**Edited: My phone interview went off without a hitch, so that was a relief! Next interview is face to face with another guy on Friday. I am now home, listening to the sounds of drilling while I go about my business. The sun just came out, so maybe a walk would be pleasant...

Definitely get out and walk if you can -I'm convinced that is part of all our various woes in the NE - its been nasty out, and we need Vitamin D and some blood pumping in our veins!

Thanks for the "are you ok" email - I appreciate you caring enough to check in on me. Love you!

I had a lovely walk, and I'm glad I got it today, as it is supposed to get more yuck after this, I think.

I'm glad we'll be seeing each other tomorrow night, and I can't wait to talk about Pakistan with your kids. Hope I'm not nervous, hehe!
