Chota mota for Friday
I have been busy doing not much of anything this morning as far as work goes, just sitting in my office being available and waiting for something to edit. While I wait, I intend to do some emails I've been putting off, and maybe write some RW letters that need writing.

I talked to the folks yesterday, and my mom is sounding better -- enough to speak in disgusted tones at my dad's inability to eat right while she was laid up -- and my dad is cheerfully making jokes about Medicare having a hissy fit that they were both in the hospital on the same day. That's my folks, LOL!
A coworker from the office came over last night and helped Hubby and Son with painting on primer in preparation for the arrival of the decorative painter on Sunday. They got so much accomplished, it was amazing! And I didn't have to do anything except feed their faces. ;-)
The painter will be here a week and do fancy painting of the foyer and the living room, and the dining room if there is time. Then it'll be time to rip out the carpet and sand down the hardwood floors. Oh, my allergies! But I'll be okay, I'm just glad to think that carpet will be history. ...
My submission for Prim's Scrapbook Angst contest is finished at last and sent off to be included in the Scrapbook. The tale -- called Honor Unabated -- can be found here, when it is posted: http://lotrscrapbook.bookloaf.net/stories/angst/index.html
Be sure to have a look at
lothithil's serious submission, Out of the Deep. It has a wonderfully insightful passage about Boromir in it. ;-) The other tales already submitted are fantastic, as well. Mine will be in good company.
Y'all have a blessed day today, I'm praying for it!

I'm not sure I can read angst written by you and Loth...I am quite positive that it'll make me cry and I don't like to cry. However being the glutton for punishment that I am I'll most likely read them anyway.
((((Lin))))I'll keep you in my thoughts as always.

I have been thinking of entering that angst contest... I do love to write (like THAT'S news), and it's been too long since I wrote LOTR. Plus it's fun to enter contests.
I guess I should go for it!
Have a great weekend, my dear (((friend))).

Ok, quit laughing. Really. Is rolling on the floor really the acceptable way to respond to that? =P
