Goal Monday

I have one goal for today and that is to go to the dentist and have my crown worked on. It will likely involve Novacaine, which means I will be home recovering from that, since it usually knocks me for a loop. I have to be better by tomorrow afternoon so I can do my part for emergency phone coverage at the office --easier to just do it even if I am loopy, than to try to find someone else to cover for me -- so I am taking the rest of today off today after the dental visit to lay about and baby myself. Probably need that anyway. ;-)

Had to turn the heat back on at home, it's that cold and damp. In Pakistan right now it is 90 degrees with widespread dust -- I guess that puts cold and damp into perspective, hehe!

((((Lin)))) hope that you will feel better after the crown work is done on your teeth. Well you need a day off any way you work so hard, not sorry is it is with Novacaine and that you will be knock out. What is the emergency phone coverage thing about?

I had just reread that, "not sorry" that is not what that should of said. It should of said "sorry" the word "not" should of not been then, *blushing*

Good luck - and I hope it doesn't take nigh on forever to wear off this time. I have to go get some fillings replaced tomorrow, so I empathize. I hate getting numbed too. By all means, baby yourself! You deserve a little babying. ((((Lin))))

90 degrees... that does put cold and damp into perspective. It's not particularily cold or damp here (sunshine and breezes), but compared to 90 degrees... eek! ;-)

You know, Lin - its pretty rough when you need to go to the dentist and get knocked out, just to get some peace and quiet in your life!

How about asking one of your "work teams" to build you a turret atop the roof so you can truly have your "White Tower?"

Heh. It was glorious here yesterday but it is overcast today with a chance of isolated showers. Good luck at the dentist, ((((Lin)))). I hope the novacaine doesn't make you too loopy.

EEP!!! Hope it goes smoothly and without too much difficulty. DO BABY YOURSELF!!! It isn't easy to shift from taking care of everyone else mode to taking care of yourself but do it!! We need you. ;-D
