Ugh -- and I repeat, ugh!

I've been at this PowerPoint stuff all day long. The house is a wreck -- I managed to feed the troops, but didn't get cleaned up afterwards, so I could get back to the PP. I have only managed 3 slides so far, which come to slightly less than a minute running time. The show can't be any longer than 4 minutes -- thankfully!

I have one of those dazed, working at the computer too long headaches, but I'm pretty pleased with myself. I actually know what I am doing now! This is learn as you go, big time. But I need to spend less time fine-tuning the slides I've done, and finish working up the other ones, then I can fine tune it as a whole.

I'll get right on it, after coffee and ibuprofen...

Powerpoint can do so much, but it isn't overly intuitive and I get in there and I know I can do something, I just can't figure out how. *recalls several PP related headaches and commiserates*

Try to punctuate today's computer labors with getting up and doing a task here and a task there- much easier on the eyes, head, and hands. That's what they're always telling us to do at work. ;-)

Good idea. I think I'm going to do laundry, if I can find enough quarters, which will involve going up and down stairs. If I can't find quarters, I may have to walk to the bank to get some!

It's shaping up! I imagine it will take another day of all-day work, but maybe I'll be mostly done by tonight. Hope so!

Not intuitive -- definitely not! Good thing I am! In a way, it's a bit like doing library research, which I'm trained for and good at (and enjoy very much!). You just have to find the right file to look in for the answer, and if you don't get it, tutorials and internet searches provide the rest of the clues.

Getting them all done then playing is the best plan, but I understand the need to tinker, tinker, tinker...

I'll be so glad when this is done, lol! Boromir is trying to get a word in now, and it couldn't come at a worst time! I shall have to pay attention to him, though, even if it's just to work up an already scribbled scribble to share. ;-) It would be therapeutic to go to another world where PowerPoint has a whole different meaning! Makes me think of Saruman pointing that long finger of his at the good guys...
