boriel was responsible for a lovely, lovely surprise in my mailbox yesterday, from the Sharpe Appreciation Society. Move over , Sean Bean, and make room for the competition! I still appreciate Sharpe, of course, but I am also learning to appreciate Harper -- and I really, truly appreciate boriel!! :-D

In more mundane news, my goal for the day is to clean the house in spite of a stiff back -- the result of two nights on a not-so-great-mattress at my parent's house -- catch up on some reading, and spend with my son.
