Poking my head in
Nov. 17th, 2004 02:24 pmNothing much new to report today. Work goes on apace, with lots of writing and proofreading to do, especially as we are trying to get our mission's quarterly magazine out. I shall have a couple of articles in it, besides having had much to do with the editorial side of things. It's a fascinating thing to be involved with -- even if it does begin to overwhelm me at times.
Let's just say, I am getting to be pretty adept at multi-tasking -- I was in doubt for awhile, but I seem to be on top of it again. ;-)
I'm looking forward to a few days off next week; if we don't get an invitation to someone else's place, we shall be home for Thanksgiving, doing the big meal routine. The day after, we are planning a visit to historic Valley Forge, a place my son has been wanting to see since he found out how close it is. I wonder if we will have time to visit Daniel Boone's homestead, which is right next door...?
I won't be able to go see National Treasure on opening day, as we have guests coming in, and I am a bit behind in the housework end of things. :-/ But I have high hopes for Saturday. A date with the family to see Sean Bean in action -- what fun!
Well, back to multi-tasking!
