Always winter and never Christmas

Seems an appropriately snowy day to be going to see The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe today! I do like winter and snow, but I'm glad it isn't interminable like it was in Narnia as the tale opens. Though sometimes winter does seem to go on forever in this neck of the woods!

I'm using my Boromir Christmas icon in the hopes that it will inspire me to get my act together and get my house clean enough to put up decorations and make cookies.

Had a very bad asthma night last night, but it eventually settled, and today I feel great -- still have to blow my nose a bit, but not unusually so. I am tired from not sleeping well (someone insisted on ploughing snow outside our window all night long!), so hopefully I won't fall asleep during the movie this afternoon!
