Lots of stairs and a bum knee

I tripped while taking a walk today, and though I fell on both knees and hands, I thought nothing was hurt but my ego. But I guess I was wrong. I must have twisted my knee and didn't realize it until I had walked a long way and back again; so by the time I got home, I was in poor shape. Finally found my knee brace but it isn't helping.

Living with 4 flights of stairs in a 3 floor house -- not counting the basement -- is not a good place to be for a person with a knee that doesn't like to be bent or have weight put on it! So here I sit, running the household from my easy chair on the ground floor, with all I need at hand -- and what I find I don't have, I shout for. Too bad everyone is upstairs and can't hear me shouting!

My knee may be better by tomorrow, or it may not. In any case, I'm done with stairs for today, until it's time for sleeping. Thank goodness I have my laptop!

Poor Lin...I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should trade in your chair for a throne, get a scepter and just wave it around imperiously and shout "off with their heads!" like the Red Queen.

Live it up and make the boys wait on you - you deserve a break!

Awww...poor thing. You need to get a pair of those radio's. Give one to Hubby or son (whichever one is home) and you keep the other. Then you won't have to shout!
