Saturday's here

It's nice to know I don't have to go anywhere today -- I had a plan to meet my Bible study group for lunch, but I found out yesterday that it has been switched to another day. No problem, it just means I have the whole day to do Saturday kind of stuff today. Which will mostly include trying to make more progress in cleaning the Bedroom of Doom. ;-)

We went to the baseball game last night and it was great fun. It was a bit breezy and cold, but it didn't rain. Our team won, in spite of the fact that they must have gone through 4 different pitchers, trying to find one who wouldn't walk all the batters on the other team. I had the traditional hotdog and pretzel to eat, and had good conversation with our friends who invited us. It was fireworks night, so we got to see some fantastic fireworks up close.

I'm a bit stiff and sore from my fall yesterday, but not bad. Whew! I was afraid it would be worse.

Now for a second cuppa and a bite to eat and then I will tackle the dust bunnies, who are now about the size of a cave troll...

It has been awhile, I do believe! Thanks for talking to the Big Guy, I did need it. I'm slightly stiffer now than I was earlier in the morning, but it's still quite reasonable considering how hard I went down.

I'm puttering away doing this and that and not worrying about what time it is or what I'm going to do next. It's quite pleasant, actually! :-D
