Monday's here again and I have no plan

The two fun things I had planned for the day have been taken care of -- posting Boromir and getting a library card.

Yes, I am now a real person, for I have a library card in my new city of residence. I promptly used it to reserve the next available copy of the new Sharpe novel, Sharpe's Escape.

Guests are coming tonight, hopefully they will arrive before I have to go out with DH for supper with some of the office people. It will be a nice outing, but it feels a bit rushed with all I have to do today before I can go.

Tune in later for my goals for the week... **yawn**

Okey dokey; I'll do a book report as soon as I get my hot little hands on the book. Someone else had it out until midMay, but hopefully, it will come back before that. I have read the first chapter online, and it seems like it will be a good one -- as usual! Theresa's in it, and I like her. :-)

Checked in the library and the only Sharpe videos they have are ones I already have. May have to go through InterLibrary Loan to get the last half of the series I haven't seen, the ones where he goes to England, marries Jane, etc. etc.

Speaking of Sharpe, I'd better get me a Sharpe icon; one of the Boromir's will have to go.

Ah, library cards! I used mine SO SO often in USA. (over here I don't usually check anything but the occasional movie out). Hope your day isn't too rushed. I am tired from my big weekend, but it was absolutely amazing.

do friends or family call you Margie?

My paternal grandmother, whom i never got to meet, was named Margaret and eveyone called her Margie and IF it was not improper or too bold I would like to call you Margie, sometimes.

I mostly go by Margaret, but there are a few who call me by other names, and I don't mind at all; I have a friend who calls me Marge sometimes, which is close to Margie, and my hubby often calls me Margo.

You may certainly you may call me Margie, especially since it has family connotations. I don't mind in the least!
