Well, it's been a long day, but a pretty good one. Much of my house looks neat and clean and really quite nice -- other parts of it are still dissheveled but I have time to work towards improvement on that. ;-) My cold is rather getting me down, unfortunately; it's moved into my sinuses and my head is really quite uncomfortable. But I'm doing all the things one does for colds like that, and it will pass on when it is ready to go.
We had a follow up meeting today with those who are helping us decide how to proceed with getting our son back in school and us back overseas. It was a good meeting -- we were encouraged while still being held accountable, and the men who met with us spoke forthrightly, yet with love and gentleness. A few things are still undecided, but the worry about that is gone. We know enough to go on with for now and feel confident that they understand our needs and will consider them appropriately. We will be moving out of the guest house come late fall, so that is one thing to plan for. But we are seeing that as a good thing, now, that will give us more time to do what we need to do, instead of splitting our time doing too many things in too many places.
Thanks for praying for me and thinking of me in these days!
I've still got a few things to do before guests begin to come, but I think I'll call it a day. There's a time for working and a time for resting, and think the resting part is wanting its turn. ;-)
See y'all tomorrow!

Sleep well, and as you said, the cold will pass on when it's ready to go. Just find loopholes! Have fun with your colds! That's what I always do! Take advantage of the fact that you can't really smell much! When my allergies are acting up and we go over to my aunties house to eat, PERFECT opportunity seeing as how my auntie's food seems as if it'd been scraped off of the side of the road somewhere. Perfect time to taste her food (well, considering I can't taste it) then no change in the facial expression indicating otherwise!
But until then, sleep well, dear, take care of yourself.
