Sorry to get some of you concerned over my whereabouts. I guess it has been awhile since I checked in. Oops!
Thursday I was around, but under the weather from too many late nights plus the after effects of a flu shot. Friday I was gone for the day -- out early and back late -- so I didn't even turn on the computer until I got back.
It's crunch time around here! I'm busy trying to finish up some projects that must be done in the next couple of days -- be warned, procrastination eventually does come back to haunt you! It's writing projects and committee work and boring stuff like that, but boring doesn't change the fact that there is a deadline.
I'm also trying to get ready for my trip to Indianapolis for the LOTR Exhibition. I pray it will be as wonderful as the time I had last year in Boston with my dear ones!! The getting ready part is fun and stressful at the same time, along with everything else that is going on, but the week away meeting old and new friends -- I'm excited to be meeting
boriel for the first time!!! -- will be just what I need to keep me going. Swooning over Boromir for a whole week is just what the doctor ordered! :-D I just wish all of you were going to be there. It may seem like a silly thing to take a break like that just before moving day, but the trip was planned, the moving day wasn't.
I need the vacation desperately.
The rest of my life involves all that "fun" stuff that goes along with packing to move. It's times like this where I wish my DH and DS (Dear Son) did not have ADD; it's hard to keep them both on task without getting irritable! Sometimes I'm doing the work of three -- but I guess that's nothing new, LOL!
Speaking of which, I guess I'll go do some of the aforementioned work.
