I'm not sure I can do this, but I'll try. I'm going to try to complain about feeling ho hum and see if I can do it without spoiling my snit by looking at the bright side at the end. ;-)
Oops, I just spoiled it by winking. Oh, well!
I'll try again.
On the gloomy side of things:
I'm tired. Really tired. Too tired to go to the visitation of my cousin-in-law who died suddenly the other day. Hopefully I'll feel better for the funeral.
I'm cold. Can't seem to get warm, though I suppose I could turn up the heat a bit. And I have a headache.
I'm irritated. This pinched nerve I have is giving me trouble. Not bad trouble, not painful trouble, just irritating trouble, of the cold, tingly leg can't sleep on my back at night variety.
I'm bored. This in spite of the fact that I have no less than 4 never-seen Sean Bean movies to watch and endless books to read.
I'm at my wit's end. How on earth am I supposed to cook anything in this airtight apartment where the smell of previous meals linger so that everything smells like yesterday's lunch? And I had to make tuna casserole yesterday, ick.
Hey! I wonder if I'm sick?
On the bright side of things:
It's snowing!!! Winter storm watch snowing!
I successfully ran two errands today.
I didn't yell at anybody, even though I'm feeling glum for whatever reason.
I talked on the phone with a friend this morning and it was nice.
I have some never-seen Sean Bean movies to watch. ;-)
On that note, maybe I'll get me some hot chocolate, an aspirin, a hot water bottle for my pinched nerve, and a wee snack, then sit down and watch one of those films. What better way to spend a cold, snowy, feeling-tired kind of day?
