I was going to be so good today, and try to stick to my diet. I am feeling very stout this morning, so I determined I would behave.

Well it's barely 10 am and I am having a low blood sugar attack to end all attacks; I need food right away.

Lucky for me -- or unlucky for me -- there is a birthday celebration for the office folks about to start and let me tell you there is all kinds of good stuff out there. None of it is part of my diet, of course.

*sigh* Guess I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow. Right now, I need cake and a ham sandwich!!

Stuff like that sucks. I have been saying for the month of May that come June I will get back to exercising and eating better. To celebrate this decision and because it is still May I had a big slice of Chocolate Rum cake and whipping cream!Not for breakfast of course,.. well maybe for breakfast;)

They had some scrumptious cake at the celebration, strawberry with whipping cream -- too good to be good for me! But it helped.

I am trying to do a low carb diet because it worked in the past, but I also struggle with low blood sugar. I may need to find a new diet.

When you have to eat, do so! But try to avoid the carbohydrate trap and eat more than you need. A bite or two (or three) won't upset you, but be firm and say no to more.

*shakes head* Listen to me: Loth the hypocrite! I am the weakest person in the universe when it comes to over-indulgence!

Just don't give up altogether. It is good to care about yourself!

I think I might have been okay if I had eaten enough breakfast; but I was running late and nothing appealed to me, etc. etc.....

i always liked richard simmons idea of a diet...he said the word started with the root word 'die' hehe.

for some people its carbs, some its fat, some salt and for me sugar is my poison. if i pig out on sugar i can gain weight. if i pig out on carbs i lose weight and protein slows me down so i dont want to eat - or exercise. I skipped meals yesterday - too busy. had a bowl of oatmeal at 7am, a sugar free licorice rope at 10am and nothing else till 7pm and i pigged out big time on anything i could find in the fridge when i got home. many small meals actually makes you less hungry and by the days end, if you tally your food consumption - you'll be shocked...way less food.

good luck though, and dont beat yourself silly over one piece of cake
