oh oh! This says home to me but it is practically screaming you! I can certainly understand your husbands practicality but you know, sometimes the universe just makes it easy when God wants to put us somewhere for a reason. At least that's how I interpret it.
It has a purple door! It doesn't even matter if you would keep it purple. The fact is it is purple now! I love that and I am not sure why. Maybe because of "Mr. Pines Purple House" my childhood favorite storybook. Or maybe because purple is a little whimsical for a door. Or maybe because it is the color for transformation and for Easter.
And it has a yard for organized wildness (my favorite) and it has Important Trees.
If it were me, I think I might sit myself down in the middle of that yard and say, "I'll see you back here when you are done prooving to yourself that it really is possible to hit it right on the first day."
But perhaps I am ever so slightly impulsive... *ponders*
