Verse Thursday - in honor of my DH

I offer here my first attempt at Haiku, inspired by my dear husband's thoughtfulness...

My hubby is great;
He brings me coffee in bed
Ev'ry day! He's sweet!

He starts the day off right, and it's up to me to make sure the rest of the day goes well! My hopes for today include:

- inkling writing this morning, while I am alone in the house. It's my day off, and there is a lot of RW stuff to do, but I can't seem to stay awake at night anymore, and I have a million things I want to write about!
- go for a walk. The weather is glorious, and there's a beautiful peaceful cemetery nearby that needs walking in on a day like this.
- time to do fun stuff for me as a break from the ratrace, in spite of the fact I had to bring home editing from the office to work on, even though it's supposed to be my day off.

Hmmm, seems like hubby's cuppa has worn off; guess I'll have to go make me another...
