linaewen: (Man of Gondor)
I'm feeling a bit droopy this morning, as I stayed up into the wee hours working on an inkling chapter -- ugh! But also, yay! It's almost done, hopefully I can get it wrapped up by suppertime and off to my beta for proofing. It's been a whole month (again) since I last posted anything in the story line, so it's nice to get back on track again.

Today is a day of prayer at our office, we have them once a month. I am looking forward to some quiet reflection and guided meditation for a time today. I shall be thinking about all of you today, especially those who have extra struggles in their lives at this time. (((((friends)))))

I have a wee pain in my sternum and back left over from my fall/accident. It's not bad, but it's a nuisance. I have a hot compress on it right now (a little something [livejournal.com profile] wadearturo gave me) and that is helping. As long as the chairs in the conference room aren't too uncomfy I should be okay!

A bit of trivia -- some years ago, I picked up a beautiful hardcover desk calendar of LOTR, illustrated by Alan Lee. It was from 1994, and I got it in a used bookstore, though it was as good as new. I have saved it all these years and not written in it, because the dates were all wrong. But come 2005, I can use it again, because the dates will match once more! :-D

A little something to look forward to in November -- from the film National Treasure.

And here are a few more pictures of a bigger variety:

Just about exactly a a month now, until this film comes out. Sean is the baddie, but it's supposed to be a comedy, so I am hoping for him to survive somehow... ;-)
