My day off

As is my practice with my days off, I am multi-tasking -- gathering dirty laundry while I eat my lunch and check my email and wait for the 10-minute preview of National Treasure to download over a dialup modem (hoping there will be at least one glimpse of Sean Bean to make the looooo wait worth it).

I spent the morning shopping; got myself some good devotional books, and my son got a couple of things he's been wanting -- including the new Van Helsing DVD. I'll get my turn with it eventually -- Carl (David Wenham) is my hero! :-D

Edited Two hours and more later, the National Treasure Preview thing has almost finished downloading. What we fangirls won't do to watch ten minutes of film, sheesh! But I've been watching the trailer as it goes along -- in between my work, hehe! -- and I have to say, I think this is going to be a fun movie -- even if Mr. Bean is the baddie. He's a COOL baddie, so there. ;-)
