Still running...

Well, my day has not begun well -- an unexpected problem in understanding when a deadline was (I think I'm right, but the question is moot if the next person down the line really wanted it yesterday). That means I may have to spend the rest of the day working on this project, and not go to the seminar I have been attending on Tuesday nights. :-(

Ah, well! Flexible and adaptable, that's my middle name. :-/

Actually, though -- last night I wasn't too flexible. I overdid it with running the race to catch up and ended up yelling at my family because I was stressed out and tired. Dear Hubby took it like the sweet man he is, and shooed me off to have some time to myself. :-) So I got some writing done that had absolutely nothing to do with the RW, and that was relaxing!

Guess I'll get started on my day with a bit of quiet reflection and prayer, and then go at it.

Reprieve

Whew! Just heard from my coworker that she was indeed a week ahead of herself, so my imminent deadline is not quite so imminent. Just in case I had to pull an all-nighter, I had already gone ahead and cancelled going to my seminar this evening -- too bad, but as they say in Pakistan "koi baat nahee" (no matter). I hate missing it, but I can probably use the extra time at home -- if for nothing else than to relax a bit!

Now I remember why I put off doing the things on my List for so long -- it's a lot of work keeping ahead of the game!

Maybe I'll just have a little nap before I move on to the next thing...
