The "end" is in sight
Nov. 1st, 2004 10:45 amThe saying on my coffee cup today is "Give yourself a break -- set aside some time today for YOU!"
What good advice! :-D I actually think I shall be able to do that without upsetting the apple cart too much, as I am beginning to see the finish line for a couple of the projects which have occupied my time and my thoughts so much of late. The point is, of course, that we should always make time for ourselves even when we don't seem to have time for it, because we will work better for having had a break -- and that's something I need to keep reminding myself to do!
Of course, I also realize that one is never really "finished" with the tasks to be accomplished in life -- there is always another one waiting to take the place of the one we just finished! But if I look at the big picture it's too much to contemplate. So I'm looking at the goal line for a couple of things that I am currently working on, and when they are done, I will greatly enjoy my break. ;-)
And I know those jobs will be done today. Yay!
