Having an interesting day...

We have two guys in doing dry wall in the dining room. Besides the fine dust that is settling all over everything -- including my Christmas cookies -- we are being treated to some interesting singing as the workers sing along with the Christmas carols on the radio. Not only is this pair jovial, they are uninhibited about their singing! :-D

A nap was sorely needed today, but the singing precluded that, and now I am in charge of being on call while hubby tries to get some work done on the car. Needless to say, I have a bit of a headache! But the work is going well -- the men's work, that is -- and I can escape the dust soon by going to the neighbor's for a Christmas supper we've been invited to. Hope I can stay awake. ;-)

Concerning the GIP -- this picture seemed Chrismas-y to me, probably because it looks like he's walked straight out of A Christmas Carol! Here's the larger version:
