Expect the unexpected
Apr. 16th, 2005 08:16 amAll plans for my lovely, mostly carefree Saturday are on hold until I can get me to my dentist. A little problem surfaced last night during the brushing of the teeth, which may be just a little thing, or it may be a big thing. Either way, it is irritating and needs looking at. Thankfully, it doesn't hurt! Hope they have office hours today.
Ever wonder why things like this always happen on a weekend? Murphy's been visiting me with his Law again, drat him! ;-)
If I can't get in today, I shall go about my day as planned, but I shall eat very much more carefully. So much for my date with Hubby to go for a pizza lunch today. We are having the hardest time getting out together, sheesh!
And since I'm thinking along the lines of "miffed" I shall mention something about living in a row house. It's hard to get used to sharing a bedroom wall with someone on the other side who coughs all night, so that you can hear it. It's not loud, just loud enough to hear clearly. Our neighbor on that side is pretty quiet (after the 3 barking Dobermans exited the scene) but he's had a wee cough the last three nights that has disturbed me about 3 am every morning. May the poor fellow get better soon!
Think I'll try calling the dentist now...

Well, the dentist is closed until Monday, so I shall have to go in then. Which will mess up my work schedule royally but I shall have to take it in stride. And I think I just might have a go at pizza anyway -- chewing carefully, of course. ;-)
