Time for some goals
Jul. 18th, 2005 08:17 amI'm doing better today, after my day home on Sunday with a coffee cup dealing with humidity-induced asthma. But I am sleepy, as not being able to breathe quite as well as I would have liked wore me out a fair bit. As usual, rain is in the forecast for today and tomorrow, so that means continued humid conditions. Still, it looks like we'll see some sun later in the week with highs in the 90's -- let's hope the humidity doesn't continue to match that number. ;-)
I am working at home today for much of the day, as I wait for the carpeting guys to show up to carpet the stairs to our third floor. They said they'd be along "between 10 and 2" -- which means I could end up being here all day waiting, but I have plenty to keep me occupied.
I haven't done a "goal Monday" for awhile, so here's a couple of things I hope to accomplish today as asthma allows:
- clean closets of winter clothes and make summer clothes more accessible
- sort through and properly file papers that are currently "filed" all over the computer desk
- take my son out driving
- work on a presentation about Pakistan we have to give on Wednesday
- make a turnip curry for supper (I know, it sounds gross, but I really like it!)
- as time allows spend a bit of time writing a Boromir chapter
Hubby will be home this evening, yay! He's been gone since Thursday at a conference in NYC. I missed him.
Hope everyone accomplishes their own goals for the day -- with joy!
