Finally a minute to put up a word
Aug. 2nd, 2005 07:35 pmI've had a few minutes online here and there today, but not enough time to put two words together to update my journal. Lets you know what kind of day I had, doesn't it? One of those days where plans go, but not quite according to plan, so scurrying gets to be the name of the game. Still, it's been a good day, not much to complain about.
DH and I had a wonderful dinner last night at the Olive Garden. We didn't end up getting pizza, as there were too many other good things there to choose from. Then we spent hours looking at cell phones and not buying one. May I just say that this is the usual way of things? My hubby is what one might call a cautious buyer. ;-)
Today we spent hours at the outlets looking at suits, and Hubby got a nice one. My feet were killing me by the end, though -- but the neat thing that came out of it was that the manager of the store liked DH (who probably talks to everyone like he's known them for ages) and gave us a job application for Nathan if he is interested in trying for a part-time job this fall. :-D
Actually, my right foot is really very sore, so I am going to have to forego all other plans for possible housework this evening, and just rest it. Too bad, eh? ;-)
