The magic is still there
Aug. 20th, 2005 10:57 pmHubby happened to mention he'd caught a glimpse of hobbits on the tv while he was channel surfing and I made him give up the remote and went searching. Came upon FOTR on TNT just in time for Boromir at the Council of Elrond...
*sigh*
It was wonderful. I cried for Boromir in Lorien, looking at his tear-streaked face; I cried for Boromir on Amon Hen, when he wept after his attempt to take the Ring; and I cried for Boromir during his last stand against the Orcs. I know I've truly enjoyed my viewing when I come away from it with a wet face and the sniffles.
No matter how many times I've seen that movie, I still am captivated by it. The magic is definitely still there.
