And they're off
Oct. 28th, 2005 04:29 pmHubby and Son got off this afternoon about 3:30 pm with a fully loaded car. Had to take one thing off the roof because it was pushing the roof in! They will make their way as far as the Ohio border tonight and then on to Wisconsin tomorrow. Hubby then turns around and comes back for another load -- and me.
I've been spending most of the day cleaning up my computer files at the office, with some time off for an appreciation luncheon in our honor. I plan to go home soon, clean up after the guys' flurry of packing, and then take a Boromir writing break for the evening, before I dive into more packing over the weekend. As much as I will miss my boys, I am looking forward to some quiet where I can concentrate without interruption on what needs doing to get ready to move. There are times when silence for thinking is more important than the actual physical packing.
Maybe I'll break the silence with a bit of Sharpe, while I'm at it... :-D
