Mar. 22nd, 2006 08:21 amMy Hubby arranged his travel through Orbitz which gave him a decent deal on a normally expensive flight. They also have a nice feature where the Orbitz Automated Cheerful Person will call you on your cell phone at intervals during the itinerary with updated info like flight departures and gate numbers.
Hubby did not take the cell phone with him, of course, so I got the calls. It was interesting to get a couple of notices like that when DH flew out, because I knew what he was up to -- I'm always curious about the details of anything that is going on. However, it was NOT so interesting to get such a call early this morning when I was sound asleep, and then another when I was about to go back to sleep. I guess it's good for me to know that DH could be arriving a whole 45 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, but I would have rather had the extra hour's sleep, and be happily surprised later.
*yawn*
