Chota mota for Friday
Jun. 2nd, 2006 09:26 amGood news! It seems I won the Bono Lotto International yesterday, to the tune of Euros 850,500. Yes, you read that right, the Bono Lotto. :-D
That's according to a poorly worded email that arrived in my bulk mail folder this morning. The email tells me that "This random lucky dip program is sponsored by the world's most formidable computer software manufacturers(Microsoft), in order to enhance and promote the use of Internet Explorer Users and Microsoft-wares around the globe."
Riiiiiight!
I don't usually read these things, though the word Bono did catch my eye. ;-) I also often enjoy reading the ones that tell my hubby that his PayPal account has been compromised and he has to check in with his info immediately so he can be reinstated. I read them, then delete them.
In other real news, today is a nice day, doesn't look like it's going to be too hot. Plans for the day include grocery shopping and a nap. I also have paper sorting to do, some of which could be interesting, some of which will definitely be embarrassing as I unearth things that should have been dealt with ages ago. But it has to be faced!
Plans for the weekend include a drive to my parent's house on Sunday, to go to church there and then join the family to celebrate my parent's 51st wedding anniversary and my dad's 81st birthday. It won't be anything fancy, but it will be a chance for us all to get together. I wouldn't be surprised if they roll a bit of other birthday stuff in there as well, since my DS and I both have birthdays this month, too. June is a busy month in my family!
I think I'm feeling better, but my leg/foot seems to be aching more as it progresses towards recovery. I better get a photo quick, while it's still discolored! :-D
