Not quite panicking
Nov. 14th, 2006 10:54 amI'm using my Panic Button icon today, just so I know where it is in case I need it. ;-)
I'm not quite in over my head with things to do, and I haven't quite been overpowered as yet by my List of Doom, but I am nevertheless feeling a bit of pressure from the things that remain undone around here.
Today I am working on editing a procedure and policy manual, and it's taking way longer than I expected. It's supposed to be turned in tomorrow, but as it seems the thing has never properly been edited before, it's a real chore. But I shall continue to plug away at it, while trying not to think of other things that would be more interesting to do.
I raked leaves again yesterday, so my back is a bit miffed with me, but not in a way that has me laid up, so that's something! I don't plan on raking any more leaves for some time, though there are still some that have not fallen as yet. I imagine there will be at least one more yard day before the big snows come.
Well, I better get back to things, before the Panic Button starts tempting me to press it. ;-) May you all have a panic-free day today, my dear friends!
ETA: I am pressing the Panic Button because I cannot bear any longer trying to decide over and over again whether the word team should be capitalized or not in this Policy Manual. I think I finally have it figured out what the difference is between a small t team and a capital T team, but that means I have to start over from the beginning and redo things. I have asked for an extension on the Policy Manual of Doom.
*sigh*
Time for coffee and something different to apply my brain to, methinks.
