re·lief1

[ri-leef] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun
I am pleased to be able to say that I am finally experiencing some relief from my allergic reaction to my sunburn from Sunday. I'm still red and itchy and swollen in places, and my hands still look frightful from blisters, but it's much more bearable now. It is definitely a pleasing change from the monotony of not being able to sleep or wear certain clothes, or even go outside for fear of getting more sun on my already tender skin. And of course, not being able to scratch, because that would just make it worse! I'm still uncomfortable, but there has been enough improvement that I think I'm on the mend.
I have to travel this weekend, so I am praying for cloudy rainy weather, even though that will ruin some of the events we are planning on attending. I'm just not ready to get sun on me again. I'm going to have to take measures to prevent that -- more than I did already to prevent the burn that I couldn't prevent, seemingly. I can't have a whole summer of this!!! Ugh.
May I soon be delivered from the rest of my discomfort! :-D
Other than the sunburn distress, things are going along pretty well here, though I am behind in some things because I couldn't really apply myself to my tasks this week. I've been getting back into writing, though, and that's always something that encourages me. There just might be a new Boromir chapter this weekend, if all goes well!
Take care, my dears, and may you find relief and deliverance from whatever is oppressing you today!
