Well, not mountains, exactly -- but skyscrapers!  We are about to embark on the third round of moving to Chicago.  The first was only a couple of days long, before we came back to Wisconsin for more stuff.  The second did not involve me -- that happened on Wednesday when DH and some other strong, able-bodied friends of his took down all the heavy big stuff, thus sparing me from being involved in hurting myself carrying something too big.  I was sick anyway that day, so would not have been much use.

Today we are loading up the car with all the little essentials we didn't have time to gather prior to the first round and heading down to the Windy City sometime before lunchtime.  Hopefully we have all the right junk... I mean important stuff packed, and not too much of it.  We have to be careful about what we put in our wee new little place!  This is our chance to practice living more simply, which one can't do as well when surrounded by too much junk... I mean important stuff.  ;-)

I'm feeling much better now, my cold is on its last legs.  The beginning part was bad, I really was laid low -- but the inevitable asthmatic cough that always comes at the end of my colds has not been oppressive this time around, so I am most thankful for that.  I do like being able to breathe properly!  I still need to have a box of tissue handy wherever I go, but I can handle that.

So there's no internet where we are going, except at the library, so I can't be sure how well I'll keep up with you all in the coming days.  The library is close by, though, so maybe I'll plan on visiting it once a day, just to keep my hand in...  Hopefully, we'll have that hooked up before the week is out!

Later, my dears!
