But hey, what's so annoying about being pegged with a Wisconsin accent? I love having people know where I'm from without having to ask. And yes, I do say "pop" -- or I used to. My extensive travels have taught me to say "soda" now, more often than "pop." Sometimes, I even find myself saying "tandi," which is short for tandi bottle. That means "cold bottle" in Urdu.
Bet you didn't know "bottle" was an Urdu word meaning bottle of pop, did you? :-D
Speaking of Wisconsin -- it is so easy to get a new driver's license here! They still had me in the system and I have two years left on my previous Wisconsin wallah, so I got a replacement license instead of a new one, and it only cost $4.00! The picture isn't bad either.
