You're sort of where we are at. We're getting ready to unpack books. Only we have one more thing that needs to be done first that you probably don't need to do: earthquake straps. We bought them today after lunch. Ten sets. Three for the dining room hutches (china, crystal, storage); one for the bedroom (display cabinet); six for BOOKCASES. Once they are all installed the real unpacking begins.
And I am amazed at the temperature in your house. It gets below 70 here and I go nuts. I found some real nice fluffy bedsocks and I wear a fleece sweater to bed. My body temperature always drops at night, always has since I was little, even when it is hot, so no matter how warm or cold it is in the house I still need to bundle up in order to sleep. I met a Mayan indian, Dominga, from Oxhuc when I lived in Chiapas, Mexico, who had the same night drop in temperature I had. So it must be something genetic.
So just reading about your low house temp makes me go BRRRRRRR! My god daughter turned me on to hot ginger tea over Thanksgiving. I should send you some. It helps!
