I see that my last proper update here was a week ago, so I guess I'd better say a word. I shall try to be concise. ;-)
Good things:
Good things:
- I got a lot accomplished while I was at my parents' house and enjoyed my visit with them. It wasn't quite the "me" time I was hoping for, but it was still good. Sometimes, just changing location is helpful. I found some treasures and brought them home with me in boxes, and the rest of the treasures that wouldn't fit in the car are organized and waiting for the next visit.
- I was approaching a crisis of panic on Sunday while thinking about all the things I have to do and which I have neglected to do, but the sermon was timely and changed my focus in the nick of time, so Yay!
- Perhaps because I'm not freaking out about it, I've gotten a number of things dealt with and finished recently, and that is encouraging.
- We have all the pieces we need to finish the bathroom, so there is another Yay! On sale, too! The sink we finally ended up with is just the thing, so we are pleased.
- Since my near miss in my car last week that resulted in my cell phone dowsing, I have been feeling off my feed. I believe it must be stress-induced hypoglycemia, which I get now and then when something sudden and major occurs. The stay at my parents house aggravated it, because they are both diabetic and don't have the kind of stuff a person with low blood sugar wants to stuff their face with when they are starving. So now I am throwing WW caution to the winds and just eating to get over this, even though I know I am gaining weight. It will pass in a day or two, and then I can get back on track. I actually feel better today than I have, partly perhaps because I got some exercise this morning.
- Said exercise was shoveling snow. While it seems to have helped me feel better in one way, I overdid it and now my back is irritated with me. But it's not too bad, and I should be in good shape to shovel again tomorrow, after it snows again tonight! :-/
- The cell phone debated for a week whether it was going to revive or not, but yesterday it decided -- not. We can replace it with one of the same model for $50, which will tide us over until July when we can upgrade to a newer model for free. We use our cell a lot, so we really can't be without it.

The cell phone situation getting resolved is good news. It wouldn't do to have it conk out on you at an inopportune moment. *more hugs*

Miss you! *snuggles*
