I'm having a hard time getting going today; thankfully, it is truly a day off today. Yes, there is housework to do; yes, there are errands to be run; but they are all MY jobs and errands, and nobody else's work. I don't have to run to the airport, I don't have to cook any big meals today -- and that is nice!
My goals for the day include trying to get a handle on a couple of rooms that I have put off cleaning. No more procrastinating! I have the weekly Boromir chapter to write, as well as a new Boromir conversation -- I finally got inspired with an idea for a new one, so that will be fun to work up.
I can already tell I will need a nap at some point. The past weeks of heavy workload and lots of guests at the guesthouse have taken a lot out of me, and I haven't been sleeping well. I also have been having trouble with my blood pressure being high -- sure hope that doesn't mean a trip to the doctor to have my medication checked; I've had my BP under control for ages, but I suppose the last couple of weeks of stress have just been too much for it. The prescription will probably be get more rest, reduce stress, drink less coffee, eat less salt, and lose weight. No problem, right?

I have today and tomorrow to get relaxed, then I have a slug of guests coming on Wednesday -- a full house through the weekend! Guess I should add doing laundry and making beds to my list of things to do today, now that I have last week's guests out and on their way...
It is indeed a good morning, but it is fast turning into afternoon; guess I'd better get started on the day!
