Droopy Day

Today will be a good day to stay home, I think.  I got a flu shot yesterday, and today I am feeling fuzzy and feverish.  I expected that, though, since I'm one who always gets a reaction afterwards.  So I planned ahead and got my flu shot at a time when I would be able to loaf and snooze at will for the day or two following.  It's not quite like having the flu for real, but the reaction is just enough to make me feel not so good.  Which I figure is a good sign that the flu shot might do some good in the long run!

Hopefully I won't be so droopy that I can't take advantage of my day at home!  I have any number of things that I'd like to accomplish -- some of it is fun projects, like catching up on my reviewing for the Middle-Earth Fanfiction awards (before the end of the voting season!!) or like doing some reading or some writing.  I also have some cleaning and organizing to do around the place to get ready for some friends to visit on Saturday.  And then there are the projects from the List of Doom, that seem to always be on the list, but never quite get done...

I guess a droopy day should be spent being droopy, though.  So I'll be sure to do that first!

Brew a nice cuppa for you and Boromir, put your feet up and take a break. It's good to take advantage of some "extra time", but you don't want to wear yourself out when you're not feeling your best. That's the way to get sick for real.

That cozy blanket came in handy! I was pretty droopy all day! I don't seem to be feverish today, thankfully, though I still feel like staying in bed. Maybe I will! :-D

I hope you are having a very soothing and restful day. Just put that pesky list of doom on a shelf. Some days are not for fretting over such things. May the reaction run it's course leaving you well in a few hours!

It was good to be able stay home yesterday, I really didn't feel well, lol! I was surprised the effects lasted all day. No headache or fever today, but all day yesterday with a fever has left me feeling pretty limp. I'll take it easy again today, too!

I love that icon! I went right out and made tea after seeing it, lol!

I do feel better today, though not perfect. No headache or fever today, but all day yesterday with a fever has left me feeling pretty limp. I'll take it easy again today, too!
