Going to see Boromir

Well, I am free of guests today, but not free of worry, as I attempt to do everything that was on my list to do this week prior to my Boston trip all in one day!

I dropped in to work to print off some maps and info for the trip using the high-speed internet, and was able to deal with a couple of things that came up, so that worked out. Now I'm off home to get organized for the rest of the weekend.

I am looking forward to seeing Boromir -- even though it will be Boromir dead in his boat! I have been a fan of Boromir and all things Middle-earth for over 30 years, and this exhibit in Boston is going to be the closest thing to seeing real artifacts from that place that I can imagine! I must be sure to pack my pockethankerchiefs!

I am also exceedingly beside myself in anticipation -- not to mention very much excited -- to be traveling with pippinswolf and wadearturo, and meeting up with madamenorthstar and seansbeanie for the first time (Squeeeee!), and seeing agape4rivendell again after more than a year, and meeting all kinds of other new friends, too.

Hope my BP can stand it! ;-)
