I like it because it is actually a self-portrait of John Howe -- who I admire very much as a Tolkien artist -- but also because it is Boromir! And you all know how I feel about Boromir, hehe!

I can't imagine why they couldn't have found him a cameo role in the movies. They put everyone and their brother into these movies.

This reminds me I've never found out from beanie about that pic. I still say it's a self portrait.

I actually thought he DID have a cameo in one of the films, but I haven't spotted him yet, and if he says now that he did not have one, then he must not have. Too bad! Maybe he did, but it was cut out or something.

I do like this cameo! ;-)
