As usually happens when it is my day off, my plans for the day have ended up not coming to pass. Not that I mind all that much -- shopping with hubby is rather fun, even though it meant I had to tie up the Boromir Muse and stick him in a closet for the time being. I had planned to finish a chapter today, but you know how shopping goes -- "oh it will just take a few minutes" turns into four hours!
I have a few hours left in which to resolve the current debate of Do I Write vs. Do I Do Housework, then I'm going out for a bit this evening.
Thanks everyone who posted to my journal yesterday, I meant to answer each of you, but yesterday was a day of emergencies at work, and by the end of the day, I was sitting with a hot water bottle, nursing muscles strained first in my car accident, then in lifting a frozen turkey, then in braving rush hour traffic to deliver van keys to Dear Hubby who had locked himself out in the parking lot of Home Depot.
My dad is home from the hospital, and is busy getting his bird feeders fixed up and ready for placement. He must be feeling better, if he is working with bird feeders! Thanks for your concern and hugs (((((friends)))))
