Last night, on the way to a weekly lecture I am attending, I stopped and ran into a superdooper K-Mart on a side of town I don't usually get to -- just to see what kind of LOTR action figures they had. ;-) It was the same old Frodos and very odd-looking Striders, but there was one new one there I had never seen before -- the Haradrim archer!

I looked at the price, and hesitated (why does K-Mart charge a dollar more than anywhere else?) -- but only for a moment. As I gazed into the narrowed eyes of the Haradrim warrior (the only part of of his face that was showing), I knew I had to have him. :-D

Call it material for research for my upcoming battle chapters in my Face of the Enemy inkling. ;-) Boromir with Battle Action is quite impatient for me to get his enemy out of the box so he can practice his swordplay on someone other than members of the Fellowship.

In other news, I am applying myself vigorously to my work today, in an attempt to get mastery of the To-Do List of Doom (which has been growing on my mind lately). ;-) There will soon be a Boromir conversation on that very topic -- when I have time to work on it!

You're not the only one with such temptations at all -- I have been babysitting today to earn a little extra for my TOS tapes! ((((Lin))))

If we call your Haradrim archer research for your story... we'll call my tapes research for a possible Cpt. Kirk inkling in the future. ;)
(it has crossed my mind, but I need to "study" him a bit more, first...)

Very nice, very nice indeed! Did you watch the 10 minute preview by chance? It took me all afternoon, but I really enjoyed it! Looks like a good film, doesn't it?

Way to rationalize buying a goodie for you - I'm proud, I couldn't have done better myself =P. I always check out stores that I wouldn't usually get to, just on the off chance...the Haradrim archer is pretty cool - I saw Elrond in his Rivendell robes and the Coronation Arwen at Toys r Us...they're going on my holiday list.
